We are originally from Wyoming where my husband worked building homes and in the
oilfield. We had a small place ( for Wyoming ) 70 acres bordering thousands of acres of
BLM. Where we raised hay and my husband raised Arabian horses. I got into exotic
birds in 1995 and loved it raising the babies is so much fun. My daughters attended Ten
Sleep school system played sports and grew up knowing you didn't have to have a
shopping mall to have a good time:) They spent many hours riding horses with their
friends, swimming and fishing in the creek.
My husband and I moved to Pahrump in 2002. I really like it here I think I am a dessert
rat at heart!!! I do not miss the mosquito's or the 40 below zero weather at all:) I do miss
all the loved ones we left behind...although I talk to most of them on the phone
constantly it does not replace seeing them. My 2 daughters and their fellows followed us
here I believe in 2004.................It's sure nice to have them and the grandbabies
( Blaine, Dominic and Devin ) here.

Well Dominic is finally here!!!! He was
born August 23rd at 6:34 pm He
weighed 9.5 lbs and was 21.5 inches
long:) Isn't he handsome:)
